Professional experience

Research experiences aquired during my double masters of Science in integrative biology/ecology :
• 10 months as a research assistant in palaeoenvironment (charcoal and sediment grain size studies) & palaeoecology (sub-fossilized chironomids study)
• 6 months as a research assistant in numerical ecology applicated to forest ecology (characterization of plant communities in the forested peatlands of the Saint-Lawrence Lowlands in Quebec).

Current research themes

Study of the links between climate and wood anatomical traits of sugar maple at the northern limit of its distribution in Quebec
(PhD student under the direction of Fabio Gennaretti at Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue).

Key words : forest ecology, wood anatomy, wood functional traits e.g. (fiber quality, vessel size & distribution), climate change, numerical ecology.
