Area of expertise
Current themes : Professor Boucher’s research aims to characterize past hydroclimate variability during the last millennium. He develops tree-ring-based stable isotopes proxies (oxygen, carbon, hydrogen) and ecophysiological modelling approaches to track interactions between hydroclimate variability and forest response over long time scales.
Key words : Hydroclimate of the last millennium, ecophysiological modelling, stable isotopes, tree rings
