Current themes :  Sylvie Gauthier has been working as research scientist with the Canadian Forest Service of Natural Resources Canada since 1993. Her research aims to characterize disturbance regimes and their effects on forest dynamics. She is also working on translating ecological knowledge into sustainable forest management and climate change adaptation strategies.
