Area of expertise

Current themes: I am a palaeoecologist working on the long-term dynamics of vegetation and disturbances (temperate and boreal forests) using pollen and plant-macrofossil analysis. I also work on the developmental stages of peatlands and their recent vegetation dynamics in response to human disturbances.
