Current research themes:
As a post-doctoral researcher, and more recently as a research professional, Tadeusz Splawinski has worked at the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue since 2015. His research examines the resilience of forest ecosystems to natural disturbance and forest management in the context of climate change, the development of adaptive forest management strategies, and the regeneration dynamics and seed production potential of boreal and temperate tree species.

As a biologist for the Canadian Wild Turkey Federation, his research examines the prevalence of West Nile virus in ruffed grouse and wild turkey populations in eastern Canada.
