PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • 2020 – now: PhD in paleoecology co-supervised by the Université de Franche-Comté (France) and University of Québec in Abitibi-Témiscamingue (QC, Canada).
  • January 2020 – June 2020: 6-month paleoclimatology and palynology internship at EPOC laboratory – University of Bordeaux (France). Climatic variability of MIS 7 interglacial (~250 – 185 ky) in the southwest of the Iberian Peninsula.
  • April 2019 – June 2019: 2-month paleoclimatology and palynology internship at EPOC laboratory – University of Bordeaux (France). Study of the impact of Heinrich Stadial (HS) 5, ~47 – 50 ka, on the balearic islands.
  • June 2018 – July 2018: 2-month paleoclimatology and dendrochronology internship at the University of Liverpool (United Kingdom). Analysis of the relationship between tree-ring width, North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO) and the amount of rainfall in England during the last centuries.

AREA OF EXPERTISE

Current themes: Interactions between fire, climate and vegetation in eastern Canadian boreal forests, based on Holocene lacustrine paleoecological records.
